Psyko Myke
I dont have my codex readily available So I dont have the exact wording, but heres the question. "Jumping" out of a stormraven counts as deep striking. It says in the storm raven rules you cant assault because you count as deep striking. Can you put a VAS with J/P's in a storm raven, and then declare a heroic intervention deepstrike out of the stormraven once it has moved flatout? vahouth
Not sure (don't have Codex with me also), but I'm guessing that they can use HI.
biglou666
hmm, if it specifically states 'deepstriking' in the rules, then you should be able too. if not, then you cant. can we have someone with a codex up in here please? :(
shatter
HI, page 27, "from reserves" Being embarked within a Stormraven is not from reserves... even though skies of blood rule stupidly uses the word 'deploy' instead of disembark.
KhorneHunter57x
The answer, sadly, is no. From page 27 of Codex: Blood Angels: If a Jump Pack equipped Vanguard Veteran squad arrives from Reserve by Deep Strike, the player can elect for the squad to perform a Heroic Intervention... Due to the fact that it mentions "from Reserve" in the rules for HI, unfortunately you cannot HI with Skies of Blood. EDIT: Aargh, ninja'd by shatter (or, should I say, shatter Heroically Intervened)
