Jaton666
I am part way through a Ragnar conversion and i am wondering what his helmet would be like. I know that wolves don't like to wear helmets as it impairs the heightened senses and that Ragnar is even less likely to wear one but i am thinking of modeling one on to his belt or on to his base. I was thinking it would be a ''beakie'' Mk6 helmet but I wanted to find out what everyone else thinks first. Spacefrisian
Seeing as he wont wear it that much i think it is a regular one, nothing fancy. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216053-ragnars-helmet/#findComment-2575461 Share on other sites
Captain Juan Juarez
I would say use one of the Wolf helms - I think it would be fitting. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216053-ragnars-helmet/#findComment-2575467 Share on other sites
MonSTeR
Seeing as how the grieves of his armour are Mk VI... In truth I think you should go for whatever you think looks best with the rest of the model. If you need something eye catching use a fancy plumed wolf helm, if you need something plain, use a Mk VII helmet with no motifs on it. Growler67
Within the Ragnar Saga paperbacks, he seldom wore his helmet. There were a few times that he did but nothing remarkable was mentioned about it or it's type or looks. Valerian
I would say use one of the Wolf helms - I think it would be fitting. Please, for the love of Russ, don't use one of those horrible Wolf Helms; they look like crap. Just give him a Mark vi, I think that would look fine. I've never seen one in the flesh, but they seem alright in pictures. Valerian
Just give him a Mark vi, I think that would look fine. V Is that the beak looking one? That's right. Go with a plain "beekie" helm, or even one of the fancier beekie helmets that come in the Space Wolves pack sprues. Growler67
Perhaps I would use one with the plume on the top, or model it to emulate his topknot. That way making him look similar in appearance on the battlefield whether he is wearing it or not. Oh yeah, if you go this route, paint it black.....obviously <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216053-ragnars-helmet/#findComment-2576764 Share on other sites

DV8
Everybody knows that Ragnar's pimpin' top knot is too pretty to hide under a helmet. If anything, he'd "modify" his helmet by punching a hole through the top so that if he ever put his helmet on, his top knot would still pop through the top. Take THAT wolf tails...
