orbion
Just wanted to check something out so when you shoot an ordnance you roll 2d6 with a scatter dice say you scatter left and roll a 2 and a 1 with a BS of 4 does that mean it does not scatter anymore? from what i gathered of the rules you roll 2d6 and subtract the BS from the scatter. just seeing if it still works the same way if the scatter is "negative" so to speak. thade
Scatter bottoms out at 0"; you can't scatter negative inches. Don't have the BRB on me, but I'm pretty sure this is explained, tho not under the Vehicles chapter. Check the Blast entry in the Shooting chapter. Acebaur
Thade is correct, the BRB states that scatter goes to a minimum of 0 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216121-ordnance-scatter-rules/#findComment-2576455 Share on other sites
Seahawk
You are correct orbion, all blast weapons work exactly the same way (exceptions exist for certain ones though; specified in the codexes) whether they're 3" or 5" wide. So as long as you're not firing a Barrage out of LOS, you still subtract your BS from the scatter. orbion
yeah I didn't mean is there anything special if you rolled "negative" i just mean it won't scatter if you roll less than your BS. So thank you all for the responses. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216121-ordnance-scatter-rules/#findComment-2576469 Share on other sites
