goldenwonder
Hi all, I apologise in advance for what may be a dense question :cuss I've started to push myself to do more and work harder at painting and modelling but the one aspect I have little experience of is basing. I usually us Graveyard Earth on the rims and then Sand with patches of static grass. I've now decided to try the basing pack after seeing the cool extras. My question is simply this - what is the best glue to use on the slate elements? The resin and brass will obviously be super glue - with this be the same for the slate? For the sand, static grass and I assume for the gravel, I just use PVA. Cheers! winterdyne
When attaching slate I tend to use no more nails (a fast acting grab adhesive) or superglue. Works best if you glue the slate on first, then apply the PVA for the sand under it with a toothpick / cocktail stick or similar. I think I will keep an eye out for some next time I pass a DIY store. Thanks again!
