Momento Mori
Just finished my entry into the SW painting comp, which closed yesterday. I actually finished him last night. Let it be know that I fraggin' HATE waterslide transfers. I even used some of that stuff (Microsol, or something) but it didn't work. After 3 attempts I though 'sod it' and hand painted the emblem on the shoulder pad: http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/ad266/Chamber_Militant/Newpics252.jpg http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/ad266/Chamber_Militant/Newpics251.jpg http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/ad266/Chamber_Militant/Newpics250.jpg http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/ad266/Chamber_Militant/Newpics249.jpg http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/ad266/Chamber_Militant/Newpics248.jpg C+C welcome. Moltar
Great paint job! I just used a SW transfer and regret not doing the image by freehand. As well as yours came out, I see no reason for you to even bother with the transfers, unless you're trying to save time. Usually, if you can achieve the icon by hand, it's not worth the headache to try and get a transfer on a curved surface. Regardless, great job on the termie. Keep up the good work! Dan VK
This model is very nice indeed. You did a splendid job highlighting the armor. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216279-sw-wolf-guard-in-tda/#findComment-2578535 Share on other sites
