Death Dealer 101
Greetings all. Quick question. Command squad advisors, one of them the astropath allows the guard player to add +1 to his reserve rolls. Now the wording is while the advisor is alive the guard player................ The question is, does alive mean he has to be on the table. While similar abilites such as the eldar autarch just say take one autarch then eldar may add +1, which seems like a whole game, thing the guard advisors abilites seem to be that they have to be alive. Thanks. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216315-imperial-guard-advisors/ Share on other sites
Gaz1858
Personally I would say alive means either on the table or in reserve. So effectively anything but dead! Chapter Master Ignis Domus
For Sicarius, he must be on the table to have Rites of Battle work. That means he can't be dead or in reserve. If it just says alive, as long as the model has not been killed, it works. Grey Mage
Yes, he can use his ability to help bring the command squad in, even if hes in reserves. Alive means, for all intents and purposes, 'not yet removed as a casualty, removed from play, or slain' Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216315-imperial-guard-advisors/#findComment-2578903 Share on other sites
