dentonius
As a non SW player I have a question about your DC. Can a chaplain control the DC their rage rule like in the old pdf codex or not? I have heard you guys can take a DC dreadnought for every 5 models as troop, so can a DCDNought score or not? If not DC are screwed in my eyes. Why pay a lot of points for units you can't control. I played fleshtearers with the old pdf codex and I liked the DC ( belongs to the FT their fluff ) Now the DC looks like overpriced toys. I am thinking to rebuild my 1500 FT army. Zeller
1. BA. 2. Chaplain no longer controls the DC. 3. One Furioso dread per 5 DC. 4. They cannot score. 5. DC have their place but their absence from a list will not be a big deal. Search-fu.
Gv0zD
Zeller is totally right. There's little to add here. DC has it's use. You can see in a topic here taht people still use them, but DC tactics has definitely changed. So far there are people who see DC as a serous threat, therefore you may throw them to get their share of punishment to buy you scoring and controllable units precious time... that's just how I'm going to use DC. As for rebuilding your army, I did the same. I just discovered my mech list wasn't working with 5th ed C:BA.
