No one in the black templar army has the "my take a drop pod if 10 models or less" not even the basic guys, even tho there are rules for drop pods... ... ... am confused have i missed something?

Any Command squad, Sword Brethren squad, Dreadnought or Crusader squad (not Black Templar Assault squads!) and all types of Terminator squad, that number ten models or less may be equipped with a drop pod (see the Transport Vehicle entry for details). Codex: Black Templars page 22

No problem. :P Games Workshop has this endearing tendency to put related rules in separate sections of their books. :o

Remember that BT use their drop pod rules and not the new C:SM rules, so everything goes into reserve. It makes an all drop pod army viable, but you won't start coming on until turn 2.

Yes, also note that our Drop Pods may fire on the turn they land.
