About as good as I could get with a home made paper lightbox and a Android phone camera lol.) As in the title, I will be presenting my Relictors Captain. Since I'm just getting back into the hobby, I don't have my model paints anymore so I've been testing out using cheaper paint. This is my first attempt at the Relictors color scheme (as easy as it is to do lol). I however didn't anticipate that the scheme would work so well using solely Delta Ceramcoat and Apple Barrel Wal-Mart paints lol. He's pretty much done, I just need to get a hold of some GW Metallics and Inks to do the metal bits on the weapons and armor, as the cheapo metallic paints are basically some glue with glitter sprinkled into it lol. The results are quite pleasing IMO and not much different from GW/Vallejo paints. Plus, Delta Ceramcoat paints are dirt cheap. They need to be thinned down a bit before they are useful, but thinned paint is happy paint no matter what brand it is. Also, this is my first attempt at using Green Stuff. I think I did OK though. The tabbard and little hanging clothe pieces under the back pack ate the only sculpted parts. Anyways, comments and criticism are welcome. Take care all. Every other time I've seen that skull profile icon it looks like he's suffered a high speed collision to the face ;) Keep up the solid work.
