New Dred Conversion

Glimpse the Void

Recommended Posts

Hail Wolf Bros,

This dred is mostly held together with putty, so it's not to late to make any changes to the bits or it's pose. I magnetized the weapon arms. The Ork claw is a bit much, but I can picture a SW drednought with a close combat weapon as big. Is this to over the top? Does it work as a model? A pint for your thoughts...

I think it's great. With regards to the cloak, I don't think it creates bulkiness as such, but it does not look naturally flowing or placed. Also try and do something about the grenades attached to the blades. I don't think they look right there.

Otherwise I love the claw. I'd also put in a Wolf tooth necklace somewhere (probably the arm) to feed it even more character. Also, as an option, Forgeworld have a Space Wolves etched brass set that would be very useful for your creation.

Hope it helps.

Good call on moving the Alf pelt. This is why I come to the fang. Do you guys think his legs are to dinky as well? They don't really seem to bother me, though I thought about sculpting some molding.

I don't think so. Dreadnoughts seem built that way.
