SW Objective Markers

I tried making some simple objective markers with runes. I believe the one on the right means either Paradox or balance between two opposites.

Here's a an objective I converted out of an IG model and a waste of plastic from the battle for McCragg starter set. I imagine the officer show down a ship in the middle of making a beer run. He pulled the last six pack on the planet from flaming wreckage and is now the space wolves most "strategically important" objective.

Thanks for the links, but any idea where the barrels in the first and fourth links are from?

IIRC, they are off of the WHFB Giant sprue. It has a barrel and even a cow ready to be placed over a fire. I didn't see it currently listed in the Bits from the WarStore, but a quick phone call could confirm it one way or the other.

For beer barrels, go to a store that sells fittings for doll houses and look for pickle barrels in packs of about 6 in several different sizes (one size per pack).

I use these as some of my objective markers. One has the stack of kegs along with the Heavy Bolter ammo cans from the Devastator Sprue, the other has these along with a few servitor skulls and some various weapons. I also use these on the bases for my terminators and on my venerable dreadnought and rhinos.

 

They look pretty nice.

The warstore ones are what I used. Although I picked them up from a hobby shop in the UK.

They still needed repainting though. The paint job they come with sucks.
