Greetings fellow Wolf Lords.

I've lurked around here for a while now and I have finally decided to step out of the shadows and get involved in the community, so hello to everyone! Just a bit about myself, I have been playing 40k for around 2 years now and in the last 12 months I entered the tourney scene with a varied amount of sucess so far. I do a bit a blogging online on a certain Space Wolf themed Blog so some of you may have seen my army before but I will post a few pics here as everyone likes a bit of eye candy!

First up here is a small shot of my Grey Hunters in some proper Fenrisian weather conditions!

Second shot is a shot of my 1500 point army on my city scape gaming table.

The boys get stuck into a Great Unclean One, unfortunately they did'nt live to tell the tale in the feasting halls!

Finally I have a couple of Wolf Lords that I dig out every now and then for when I am feeling like a punch up and the a shot of the boys going head to head with some Blood Angel Assault Marines.

Very nice. I've been wanting to paint my Rhino hatches like you've done for a while but didn't want them to come out crooked. How did you get yours so symmetrical?

I saw Jawaballs did a video where he hand painted a aquilla on his rhino hatch using an image he printed online as a template. Did you do something similar?

You can easily producce a stencil with an index card or other similar material. Whether you use it to spray paint the whole image or just trace the image onto the vehicle then hand paint it to fill it in o whatever method you choose that'll produce the results you seek. You could even use the stencil to place the image in the desired location, trace the outline with a thin tip mechanical pencil (lightly) then use adhesive tape to mask off the image. Cut carefully with a sharp knife and removethe tape where you want the paint to go. Then after drying remove the rest of the tape and you are done.

Welcome indeed - new faces are always welcome, particularly if you've been lurking around for a while :P

Nice looking army... I always particularly like to see rhinos with proper extra armour on, but the look and feel of the army as a whole is cool.

I look forward to seeing and hearing more about it as your army expands.

No template just free hand, although I have to admit they are not as good as the pic makes them. I actually painted the Rhino doors then drew some horizontal lines across the hatches as a guide and then drew the outline of the Wolfs head in pencil before painting them black. I'm thinking to strip a couple of those Rhinos and have another go at them as I'm not 100% happy with the result.
