Starting with some putty

Hi! I'm new to the hobby, and i'm starting a space wolves army.

 

I have some putty and a snap-on marines so I decided to try to customize them so they look more "space wolf", and need some feedback

Your English is fine. From what I can see, the skull on the gun looks pretty good, and the pelt on his right shoulder looks good as well. You might want to think about how the skull would be fastened to the gun, straps or bolts would make it look even more like part of the model.

 

I am not sure what you're going for with the backpack, the right side of the work there looks like it ought to be smoothed a bit. I might be misinterpreting what I am seeing, but it looks there are some finger prints on the tabard between his legs - if that's deliberate, apologies. Taking pictures always makes me notice things I don't see with my naked eye.

I'll try to put something that holds the skull to the gun, and see how it looks.

 

The backpack thing... it's like "I'm out of inspiration" kind of thing... and I thought that look nice if I paint it like "golden rings", and you are right, it needs some smoothing.

 

And to be completely honest, those are fingerprints, at first non deliberate, but when I saw it finished I thought that looks like texture and maybe painted it will look nice, but now, I don't know if it's a good idea.
