Validar
great projekt! Don't you think you need to make him slightly larger than that? So that he stands out from normal marines in size alone! Remember to leave space for the cape - the wings should go slightly out and then straight up (so the wings start at his shoulderblades instead of comming straight out of the shoulders) - dunno if you thought of that looking at the front alone  Will you try to position the weapon like on the picture? It'll require painting before assemble and some good greenstuff skills, but it'd look really unique too. What are your thoughts? Good luck! HarasinCreed
Thanks for the reply. I was going to go the whole completly true-scaled miniatur thing but it takes so long and i preffer to use normal sized marine. Also i do not play blood angles so he doesnt need to be too big. I am then going to paint him up and enter him into the Golden Deamon Under 18 single miniature so i dont want him being to big. As to the weapon position it would require some extensive work and im a bit lazy. After all that i may sell him depending on how well i do him. HarasinCreed
Thanks. The guide i found in the Libarium and i did a slight variation on it. ie i used plastic-card instead of greenstuff for the initial layer. Natanael
GREAT work. You have some serious skill with that GS. How much time have to spent on him so far? Any clue? I like the sword, tough I think that the "upper" blade is a bit out of place. The blade edge need to be just an extension of the "lower" blade, if you know what I mean. But if you dont want the lower part to be a blade, then this works fine. Otherwise it seems a lot less practical to have that not so sharp part sticking out. - Natanael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/216622-personal-conversion-challenge/#findComment-2586997 Share on other sites

Dosjetka
Nice looking model. You say it's finished, though the backpack looks unpainted and the wings could do with a bit more highlights and washes to make the feathers stand out more. Just a thought. Ludovic Edit: It may just be the lighting though. Also, the eye glow effect is well executed and the power blade is superb. Great job!
