I also have a blog here, but eh, I decided to make a thread as well, due to people such as Shortsonfire and Goosedamoose...

EDIT: I have created a BnC gallery, although my photostream will be constantly updated and fully organised as well, and will contain all of my images of my various projects, power armoured or not (which will include Necrons).

Anyways, onto the pictures...

Yeah I think I agree with Shorts, I like the flamer guy the most, and I quite like the Techmarine too actually :)

 

You might wanna try and go over that greenstuff with a file to get the fingerprints off though.

Not sure if the Thunderfire cannon is oversized though. I used cashier paper roll holders for the main tubing, and a certain paint companies paint tops as the actual launchers... I wrapped it in tape so that when I paint it it will appear more armoured. I need to find treads though.

 

The one guy I'm really looking for comments on is the eightlegged monstrosity, which counts as a captain on a bike (vanilla marines).

No but seriously, I actually do like "the Thing" it's definitely suitably badass and it kinda looks like a scorpion. Which is just WAY cooler than that stupid crab form the GW Defilers take. Still though, file off the fingerprints and uh, yeah I don't know what it is but it's cool lookin' :D

The adept is actually a dark blue, not black. Hmmmm. Way too dark blue, methinks.

Lords of Shadow Drop Pod. I'm not done painting it, although I am mostly done... I didn't assemble the inside, because, well, I tried to assemble it seperately and failed miserably.

This is my attempt at a Juggernaught of Khorne. As you can see, this is still heavily WIP, and is often shafted aside in the face of other projects, such as the Thing.

I used a Lego Motorcycle body in conjunction with a Carnifex carapace to form the core of the model. There is a scale shot with a blast template.

This is my WIP Thunderfire cannon. I made it using the top of the paint containers sold by Game Color, whose paints I use, and the inside of cashier paper roll holders. I taped around it so that it would appear more armoured.

My corrupted Techmarine, counts as a Terminator w/ Assault Cannon and Power weapon... Heavily greenstuffed, and painted the exact same method as the adept, only with a few washes of Pale Flesh, and some silver parts. I need to tone down the silver though, a lot... didn't realise it was that bad...

Bump... I have a whole bunch of models sitting in Simple Green... and I have done a little more work to the Thing...

Oh, he's done, although I probably will tidy up the shoulderpad now that you mention it... This is the height of my painting talents ATM, although I'm getting better as I go along... You should have seen me when I first started out ^_^

 

I'm going to post some pictures of the Thing soon and perhaps another model of mine... There is going to be a lot more pictures when the Simple Green finishes stripping my 30 odd models I have in the container, including 1) a biker 2) several Khorne Berzerkers 3) various Chaos Marines and 4) various Space Wolves... Then I shall paint them, and there will be pictures :yes:

Sorry, wasn't able to do the pictures last night, but they are here now, with a few extras...

And that's all from the Thing for now, here are some of my other miniatures... The Khorne Berzerker is getting a Simple Green bath as soon as I have room for him in the makeshift tub. I'm not done painting my BA plasma gunner, before you ask, although he's on the back burner.

Finally, some pictures of the finished Iron Dragons, which I plan to be posting in the HoH WIP Swapping project thread.

The other two (in the squad) are getting their finishing touches.

And that's it for now... Comments and criticism are appreciated, especially because I seem to be getting very little in the way of either.
