I use the smoke for two things: smoke launchers from vehicles, and stormcaller.

I combine both the smoke+ice, or just the ice to showcase either Tempest's Wrath, or Murderous Hurricane. *Blizzard*

LOL! Necron Lord on a giant scorpion!

I honestly haven't thought of using tokens to signify SC and MH before. Although I think it is an interesting concept I could easily see a board get cluttered with these especially when fielding large armies ^_^

I guess if you want to use something like that then you could use wooly bits

No but I probably should with my memory. :P

WOAH!

You can make tokens with your memory?!

Yes Marshal, its one of our more convenient witchpowers ;).

Witchcraft, heresy & mutation!

Well, my wife might agree that I have a token memory.

Well they could be small, as wide as a terminator base or even a marine base. And you'd only have one per Rune Priest who used the power.

I have tended to use good old cotton wool at times. Great until it starts tangling itself up in everything, but useful is someone spills their drink :(. I'm much more fond of my hand-made chooser markers, representing several large and slightly mutated (not deliberately!) birds of prey.

Slightly off topic, but for interest...

I played against a guy recently who had different versions of two of his characters to represent them if they had used certain powers... :HQ: I've never seen anything like it, particularly as they were all beautifully painted. Surely that is the step too far, though it did look very cool when his blood angel ICs were suddenly wielding a massive lance or looking even more vampiric.
