I was wondering how good an all or mostly jump pack list is in the blood angels book. Thanks! JamesI Posted December 18, 2010 Share Posted December 18, 2010 Jump lists can work well. Personally, I prefer a slightly diluted jump list using support of devs and attack bikes. I highly recommend the DOA tips and tricks thread for advice. I currently run an all jumpers army with this @1750 Libby w/ Jump Pack Libby w/ Jump Pack Assault Squad w/ Hammer, 2 Meltaguns Assault Squad w/ Hammer, 2 Meltaguns Assault Squad w/ Hammer, 2 Meltaguns Honour Guard w/ 3 Plasma Guns, Jump Packs Vanguard (6) w/ Jump Packs, 5 Storm Shields, 2 Hammers, 3 Claws Sanguinary Priests (2), Jump Packs, Lightning Claws (1 Each) This list so far has 2 wins against marines today and will be playing DE and possibly Guard tomorrow. The marine lists i faced today are: Lysander Libby Tac Squad (10) w/ Multi-Melta, meltagun, Fist, Combi- Melta Tac Squad (10) w/ Missile Launcher, Meltagun, Combi-Melta, Rhino Iron Clad w/ Drop Pod Iron Clad w/ Drop Pod 5 Assault Termies w/ TH/SS, Crusader w/ Extra Armour Dakka Pred w/ HB Sponsons Dakka Pred w/ HB Sponsons Think that was it. Anyway Lysander did nothing, temies got crushed by my 2 assault squads after they multi-charged me. Libby blew up Raider + Rhino with 1 Lance. He Conceded there at my turn 3. Second game was a bit more exciting and he changed his list up a bit: Lysander Ironclad w/ Pod Sternguard (5) w/ Pod 2 Speeders w/ MM/HF (not a squadron) 10 man Tac w/ Missile Launcher, meltagun, combi- melta, fist, lazback 5 man tac w/ Lazback Dakka Pred w/ HB Sponsons Dakka Pred w/ HB Sponsons 5 Assault Termies w/ TH/SS, Crusader, Extra Armour. 4 Objectives here. One of my libbies squad took out raider with meltas, vanguard took out ML combat squad then went on to combat with Lysander + sternguard for the entire game before losing to lone sternguard after kiling lysander with help of assault squad. Dakka Preds and lazbacks and their squads got taken out by thye other libbies squad with lances and meltas. I won 2-0 and all he had left was a pod. Stormbrow II would have a more detailed game walkthrough if you wanted them.
