If u haven't seen the movie don't read this cause u won't understand the question and I don't want to ruin any parts of the movie for u!!!

What is up with the imperial fist chaplains weapon I can't remember the name right now. But I was wondering if anyone has ever read or has any info on what seemed like a physic power coming from the weapon that he used to kill a bunch off the chaos warriors and after he used it he said it had to recharge. I was confused as hell I thought he was a librarian after he did that for a min but he was most deff a chaplain.

It's a Crozius Arcanum as stated. I'm sure Dan Abnett knows what it is but maybe it wasn't explained thoroughly or properly to the animation department. It appears that he is "casting" something when in fact it is considered a Power/Force weapon (Codex SM isn't in front of me). The recharge thing is a little off as well. Like I said, it was good but far from a GREAT movie. First time out I expected some flaws. Maybe the GW canon "powers that be" will step it up in the next one (hopefully).

yup, was a little weird.

i guess it could be a new use for a crozius, directing a blast out from it rather than a power field around it. you could explain the "recharge time" due to the heavy power drain from using it in that fashion.

It is a movie abonimation of a WH40k concept.

I'm guessing someone was a D&D fan and said hey...priests/paladins can mess up the undead so I bet a chaplain could too...he's like a WH40k priest/paladin right?

An excellent joke. :D
