Need some input

I cannot wolf up a standard venerable dread and leave the dread ccw as plain as what is in the box.

 

I have some tyranid scything talon sitting around somewhere. Think they could become "kraken" teeth attached to the dread ccw fist via some trimming and greenstuff?

Go ahead. I think I've seen conversions done this way before on the interwebzs.

Sounds like a cool idea. Paint the teeth black, or bone color (not sure what color kraken teeth should be, but either works), and that should turn out really wolfy.

I'd say go for it. I converted the dread from the assault on black reach box by adding a storm shield to one arm, some wolfy bits, and used the blades off of kroot rifles for claws on the fist.

I recently splashed out on a Ven. Dread. I used Grey Knight NFW blades as claws for the hand, worked really well. The talons would look pretty cool :lol: so go for it.

i used sword scabbards from the khorne berzerker set to pimp out my dread ccw, looked pretty good :)
