Nice looking models man. One criticism, and one suggestion:

the white on your sternguard helmet seems really thick; try thinning your paint a little, it should give you better depth of color and not appear so clunky. (I get that painting white over black is exceedingly painful and can make a man want to rush, so I'm not going to hold this against you. :) )

Suggestion is... just a thing I do - you can test it out on a mini and see if you like the results or not. Highlighting and lowlighting black is a pain, because, well, it's black. Sometimes you run the risk of seeming flat with black models, so what I learned from a ravenguard player back in Virginia is... paint all your models a really, really, really dark gray. Highlight the edges in a slightly lighter gray, and then wash the almighty bajeezus out of them with Badab.

Moving onto positives: I love the landspeeder, the models have a good feel and character to them. The guy hanging around on the side with his food "out the window" seems like a cool customer. I also love camo cloaks, thank you so much for painting a stealthy unit in a stealthy manner. I hate seeing scouts in bright, flashy, flamboyant camo cloaks, it makes my soul itch.

Can't wait to see more models man. :]

Thanks for your kind words. I do admit when painting white I sometimes rush it. I'll try to fix that problem. Another problem is that I use the chaos black spray paint for my undercoat, as, to be honest, I don't want to spend ages undercoating by hand or spend money on the spray gun (or whatever it is called). My own problems by being lazy and cheap

I prefer modeling over painting, and I think it shows on some of my paint jobs. One of these bad habits you can pick up I guess. I will definitely try your suggestion, it's just I don't get much time for painting these days with exams and uni applications. I'll make room some time soon though.

Also, what do you mean by food out the window? :D

I really like the way the camo pattern is done, nice job.

One easy method I find when painting any light colour like white, yellow, red etc over a black undercoat is to do a first layer of grey (I use codex grey) and then paint the desired colour over that. You will find that you won't need a thousand layers to acheive the right colour saturation. And in the case of imperial aquilas when the white is carefully brushed over the grey, it will give a quick shaded effect.

My bad.

Also, your local hobby lobby might have some good superdark gray spray paint. It's where I got the silver I use on my marines, so it might be worth a shot.

I know what you mean about liking the modelling more than painting, I'm the same way.
