i am working on making my own version of asmodai using the veterans box but i am stuck for a head that would work well.

 

my GS skills really aren't up to scratch so thats out

 

any ideas?

hmmm... can you trim the respirator of one of those respirator heads and graft it onto a DA hooded head?

You can always pick an asmodai on Ebay and chop his head off, I have one ready for that already :P

If that dont work, check some eldar reapers or arlequins heads or something like that, and stuck it on a DA hooded head.

I believe that a necron head would work, with a little bit of green stuff to sculpt a hood. I know the necron heads are a little on the smalle side, but that works to your benefit - it gives you a little wiggle room for size when using the green stuff. Alternatively, if you don't want to bother with a hood you can use the chaos marine skull helmet (just remove the arrow withe a knife and a file), or you can purchase a skull helm from a third party vendor.
