Chapter Name

Can anyone think of a Chapter name that has the word Predator in it? At the moment the best I can come up with is Feral Predators.

What about just the Predators or Red Predators or any "Color" Predator or "verb" Predators. Just start playing with words. But I think that you should keep it to a 1 syllable word. What about Ghost Predators?

Also, dont forget the fluff you are writing for this chapter, you could go with "Predators of **Homeworld**" or somesuch. ive always liked that whole homage to your home kind of thing. just an idea. :lol: hope it helps

Thanks for your responses and I think I am going to use all of them! Different sectors will call them different things depending on the deeds of the chapter, but the majority of them will include Predator.

Sort of. Their true name would be known to those they have fought beside, and anything with a colour in it would have to be out unless each time they go to war they repaint their armour, which would be very unorthodox.

 

Why do you need them to have that many names? In any case it's not really all that relevant to any IA you may write on the chapter. Astartes are collectively and individually known by many different names, but each IA does not have a glossary of the terms used to described each individual chapter.

 

I'd advise to pick one name and stick with it, build the chapters character before you go into ancillary details like what the massed Imperial populace calls them.
