Yeah sounds bout right. you can write whatever you feel like in a dex if you're the one writing it. It is interesting but I find it pretty much par for the course when a new dex comes out. Some other 40K force will either be disgraced, pummeled, or turn traitor regardless of how said force is portrayed in it's own codex. Mind you it is Dark Eldar and they are an ancient force by back story, so would likely be able to salvage amazing technology and magics.

Plus somewhere in all thier raids and battles they must have captured space wolf cadaver(s). The resemblance to Leman Russ comment on the other hand.. in stature as well???.... whoever writes the codex.. Or maybe someone's cool version on back story at games workshop... includes Leman Russ' DNA and some Space Wolves' parognoids.

Same ol' Same ol'

Dark Eldar using there tech and magic to tamper with Space Wolf geneseed....

Notice that they had to capture those that were on the Lone Hunt. As for the resemblace to Leman Russ.... Most Marines resemble their Primarch.

If their work would have been accompished I doubt they could have controlled what they had made.

"Look a whole company of Leman Russ look alikes! What are they doing! Stop it! OW! OW! OW!"

Doesnt mean anything about them being able to clone Russ. Many chapters have people who through the gene-seed resemble *closely* their primarch. Look at Abaddon the Destroyer!

They got some aspirants, and did some genetic testing on them to see what they could do with them... and activated the curse of the wulfen, likely on purpose. Pushing those latent genes out there affects many of them and some of them look similar to russ. *shrugs*.

Yeah sounds bout right. you can write whatever you feel like in a dex if you're the one writing it.

I remember when the chaos warriors army book was released there was much anger by us dawi (dwarves) because one of the larger norther holds was destroyed in the army book -.-
