Peck
Nice. It's got a really wicked sense of form and texture.

Chaplain Hiltraud
Mr.Nipples, I admire all of your works that I have seen so far. Great job! I hope for you to get hired, this picture really shows that you have some {true} talent! I must however point out and ask - Where are the 'ears' in this pic? Yours in Honour and Faith Chaplian Hiltraud [edit]grammar
Ecritter
Very nice work, missing the ears as stated earlier, but still very nice.
Chapter Master Ignis Domus
Hire this (wo)man! Now! I demand good artwork like this in the books!
Pulse
Oh mate, this is fantastic. Being a soldier myself i can relate to the picture, and the picture certinately has the effect of being emotional. Apart from the small error people have said (i missed it when i first looked at the peice) i think it is great, the smashed eye lens as well really adds to it as well as the weathering. Mr. Nipples
Thanks dudes! Appreciate the input, I will be adding the ears, shouldnt be too much work, I appreciate all the kind words and by golly hopefully GW will like em. Does anyone know anyone employed at GW so that I could possibly make sure I tailor my portfolio to blow them away?
Hfran Morkai
That's jawdropping, I really like that piece and seeing work like that in a codex would be awesome. Also, off topic but the cat on your shoulder is adorable. Ahem, jolly good work sir! Consider yourself watched.

Good advice, i forgot he did the cover for False Gods (my person favourite cover for any HH novel) and some Inferno stuff. :)
Validar
incredible... You capture the grimdark feeling really well. Awesome.
Rogan
I may make a tactical mistake by posting here after criticizing slaine's work quite harshly, but I can't resist. In my opinion, you've created a masterpiece here, worthy of being shown in the next Space Marines Codex. The title fits the image perfectly, a brother lost, but still living on in the chapter's memories. Great art.
mega_marines
Gotta say it's an absolutely brilliant piece. Definitely fits the feel of 40k too.
Chaptermaster Graymantle
Jawdroppingly Awesome! Hope you get a gig with GW and FFG.
subtlebrush
Good luck to you man. You've captured quite the dark mood with this piece, would love to see other pieces.
The Emperor's Champion
You make a mockery of the quality of half the art that GW does use. They'd be complete fools not to hire you.
augustmanifesto
This is spectacular. Really. I have never wanted to murder Iron Warriors so badly before in my life.

Liquid_awesomes
Thats distilled awesome. I get the idea of the helmet having been found by the surviving populace of the planet, and left as a monument to their saviours, with people leaving their thanks and prayers on it.
