Agis
Something different for the last update in 2010; Leman Russ Primarch of the mighty Space Wolves! After reading Graham McNeals wonderful “A Thousand Sons” novel I had to dig out this old mini give it a paintjob... http://www.adpublishing.de/assets/images/Leman_Russ.jpg A mini similar in size and style as my Sanguinius mini- The mini is sculpted (probably) by Scibor. I bought the minis quite cheap from a guy in Russia. IMO one of the best aftermarket Leman Russ sculpts! I used a Storm Bolter from the plastic SW Terminator box. http://www.adpublishing.de/assets/images/Leman_Russ_size_comp.jpg Size comparison More here: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/space_marines.html Also on CMoN: http://www.coolminiornot.com/268021 ...and all the best for 2011! Agis
The face look kinda strange, but its a good paintjob, like it. LOL; true! :( The sculpt is a bit rough, I was even tempted to make a head swap, but with all the hair that would be a bit too much effort, therefore I went for the feral and wild look... ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/218299-leman-russ-primarch-of-the-mighty-space-wolves/#findComment-2603422 Share on other sites
khairney
The face look kinda strange, but its a good paintjob, like it. LOL; true! :( The sculpt is a bit rough, I was even tempted to make a head swap, but with all the hair that would be a bit too much effort, therefore I went for the feral and wild look... ;) and also the "my mouth looks like its trying to eat the rest of my face... jesus, wheres it going now?" look. really well painted, a great job, but man, that face is terrifying! and not in a bad ass scary way. its just dawned on me... i now have solid proof that leman russ is closely related to pete burns. http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/01012/pete-burns_1012468c.jpg jesus thats scary. believe me dude, im not insulting the paint job, its dead good, just insulting the sculpt Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/218299-leman-russ-primarch-of-the-mighty-space-wolves/#findComment-2603430 Share on other sites
