Currently on deck is a 10 man vanguard squad and Shadow Captain Korvydae once he gets here (in the mail with my transfer sheet) will post as soon as complete. or possibly piecemeal as i plan on dedicating my time to individual models instead of pumping them out as fast as i can. Maybe I can find a better camera and get some nice lamps when they're done as well. WookieeGunner
Not bad. One thing you might think about doing is painting your white first with Astronomican Grey or Deneb Stone (my suggestion would be Astronomican Grey). The pigment is much thicker so it will help make the white not be so blotchy without having to put down as many layers. raven guard 1369
what white are you talking about? i can only think of two that might require the grey undercoat and thats my helmets which i like the dirty look so they are actually washed with badab black same with the lightning claws. and if you are talking about the dreadnought shoulders i was trying to do a clean white but i was a noob and did layer upon really thick layer. if you could be more specific that would be great but I'll definitely pick up that color and take it in consideration when i do paint my whites Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/218305-my-raven-guard/#findComment-2603375 Share on other sites
WookieeGunner
I was thinking of the free hand, like the Ravens on the banners. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/218305-my-raven-guard/#findComment-2603396 Share on other sites
raven guard 1369
The freehand will soon go away to be replaced by transfers. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/218305-my-raven-guard/#findComment-2603407 Share on other sites
