Angels of Redemption MkII

Oh yeah, I made a banner bearer for when I use all my terminators as Deathwing, I decided to use it in my doubles army just because it looks cool

It's a chopped up BA banner from the sangy guard (I have like 8 of them...), it wasn't fun removing all those blood drops..

Been practising a lot with my new 750 list, and despite it not being as strong as the Shrike list, it covers all the gaps the Shrike list was missing, like long range anti tank. The Storm Raven is proving quite effective at dealing with armour and infantry alike!

Tonight me and Krom_stormbrow have been making a SHINY army list which we’ll print and laminate.. we get excited by laminated things.

He made this COOL image whilst I made a background for our list:

Seth is awesome and the Stormraven looks fantastic!

A quick question, where did you get the hydrolic winch on the back of the pred? :)

Made it myself from bits, :)

The pole itself is a cocktail stick, the supports are from an Ork Trukk I think, the engine is the commsystem from the LR crusader sprue, the wire was from Dragonforge, powercable things that I wrapped around, and the hook is from the scout speeder set :)

OMG! has this chapter never heard of a mop and bucket? The poor techies will have to fire up the pressure washer to get that lot off. I look at my pitiful attempt and weathering and dispair :P If you find time a step by step how to would be great ;)

Easy peasy :tu:

Thin layers of the green colour around the eyes, then a normal layer on the glowing source itself, next do yellow over the source, a bit around the eyes, not much though. And finally white on the source.

I've been messing with glow effects since my Deathwing, lots of different ways of doing it :)

Here's a poor shot of the full army so far, finished the termies today:

Schwing! Your work is SO sweet; love the weathering, love the painting style.

I've always had a thing for the Angels of Redemption ever since the 90's edition of Space Hulk, but always deemed the scheme impossible to paint. You, however, have pulled them off magnificently, so a big grats to you.

Ps. I'm a big fan of The Vanus Temple :D great job with that too...

Where did you get the awesome sword for your captain?

Or are the flames sculpted?

It's from the Empire Wizard kit :)

And cheers everyone!

WIll get the scouts finished this weekend if I can! Then a week of peace leading up to the tournament!
