How to finish company +

I am working on a whole company (with support) of Blood Ravens

 

Here is what I have started;

x2 w/ 9 Marines, melta, multimelta, (1 Sergeant w/ bolt pistol, power fist, 1 Sergeant w/ 2x Lightning claw)

x2 w/ 9 Marines, flamer, heavy bolter, (1 Sergeant w/ 2x lightning claw, 1 Sergeant w/ bolt pistol, chain sword)

x2 w/ 9 Marines, plasma gun, plasma cannon, (1 Sergeant w/ plasma pistol, power fist, 1 Sergeant w/ plasma pistol, chain sword)

 

Devistator squads

x1 w/ 9 Marines w/ heavy bolters (x4),1 Sergeant w/ bolt pistol, chain sword.

x1 w/ 9 Marines w/ plasma cannon (x4),1 Sergeant w/ plasma pistol, chain sword

 

assault squads

1x w/ 9 Marines 2x plasma pistols, 1 Sergeant w/ power fist, plasma pistol

1x w/ 9 Marines 2x flamers, 1 Sergeant w/ 2x lightning claws

 

 

 

Here is what I have un assembled (ordering more bits is an option);

Chaplain

Termie box

sniper scouts

5 bikes

3 speeders

2 dreadnaughts

4 rhinos

3 razorbacks

3 droppods

1 land raider

 

I want to hear opinions on how to finish this project

Fluff wise, you're going to need 3 more tactical squads. You're also going to need a rhino for each tac squad and dev squad. As for HQs, making a few different variants of Librarians would be helpful, although I would just make a Storm Shield Terminator Librarian and leave it at that.

 

Also, I suggest you make your Captain out of the bits in the Command Squad box. I built my Iron-Captain Akios out of this box, and it looks much cooler than the other force commander box. That, and it comes with a Relic Blade, which is all sorts of awesome by itself.

 

After that, you're pretty much set.

Fluff wise, you're going to need 3 more tactical squads.

He wrote 2x for the tactical squads. :)

If all the glue is not yet dry I would take the powerfist or plasma pistol off the assault squad sergeant. I can't stand losing a 50+ point model to plasma overheats. Same with the devastator squad sergeant, he doesn't NEED a plasma pistol. If it doesn't die to 4 plasma cannons and 5 bolters, it probably won't die to a plasma pistol. Against MEQ and TEQ it's just over kill. Most of the time you should already have wiped out the enemy squad by the time the plasma cannons finish firing.

I Was also thinking of making the rhinos and razorbacks interchangeable (not gule hatch) what do you think about the pintle mounts on those?

 

For the Land Raider go for the crusader loadout to dump of termies?
