Hi there! 3 years of spare time, and I can finally post it. This is really exciting for me. I'd really like to thank all of the people who post on this website. Its just an overwhelming source of inspirations from color scheme's to poses, conversion parts and proxy's. I enjoy looking at all the amazing H.Spirit-Christ-God given talent distributed out amongst so many people! I did an Emperor Titan. 44" A Warlord And a Warhound. And all the Major sections of the Imperial Palace Wall represented in the photo of the one for Gw's museum photo. The Titans, as well as the wall are "finished." Finished for me is the basic shape of the model is complete. All the core lines are there. If you were to place it on a table, there would be no doubt as to what the model is. They are void of paint and decals because they are for sale. Personalization is the cornerstone of the hobby. Loyalist or Traitor. Iron Warrior or Alpha Legion. Pre Heresy or Post. Its a blank canvas for you. I do have a question. (I am not trying to hawk or sell them here. I believe this website doesn't do that.) What would an acceptable sale price be for the amount of time I've put into it? I don't want to be unreasonable and gouge people like I see on Ebay. But I don't want to be short-changed either. However I want it to actually sell. There was a guy selling Warlords for 14-1200 apiece. Your getting a Warhound, the Wall, and a full size Emperor Titan with mine. How much more? Again, thanks to everybody for the hard work they've put in on there war barbies :tu: I hope you've had a Great Christmas, and made strong new years resolutions to improve your life and others for the coming year! MagicMan
That looks pretty cool dude, shame you have to sell it.
Ironkeep
No shame at all. :woot: Someone would get to finish it and freak people out at apoc games! I think it would be a head turner lol. The joy for me is in creating. My Siege of Terra is NOT made of Styrafoam. (I should of made that clear. My mistake.) It is made from cardboard. Quite thick pieces where it needed to be, and plaster gauze, for added strength. Paintable. Detailable. And most importantly durable.
Rogan
Nice stuff so far. Maybe a little rough here and there, but not too many scratch-built vehicles look better than these titans. ;-) Man, now I'd like to do one of these Emperor titans, too... Just one more questions, something that really struck me in Flannery O'Connor's "A Good Man is Hard to Find": (I should of made that clear. My mistake.) Instead of "have" you wrote "of". Is that a orthographical mistake due to your spoken language or is it rather a generally accepted phenomenon? I don't mean to mock, it's just that I have encountered this before - and it made me curious. ^^
Chapter Master Ignis Domus
I think that comes from the common use of the contraction "should've" which sounds a lot like "should of" when you say. People hear this and think that the correct words are "should of" and whala! It is spread. No, I have never taught English. In fact I have an extreme dislike of the English language. blackbabyjesus
"Should of" is indeed wrong, it comes from certain accents making have and of sound very similar, should have is correct. Nice titans btw B)
