You do know you're crazy, right? ^_^

That is a massive amount of models paint, Space Wolves or not, so good luck to you!

Ludovic

:HQ:...crazy as a fox...luckily i own an airbrush and a large supply of paints and have worked up a fairly good approach to mass painting of mini's...the assembly line was one of the best inventions (and greatest losses to 'real' productivity) in history.

last eve 'knight and day' and 'the a-team' were my background muses as i put a basecoat of brown on the yellow and red places for 5 termi wolfguard, 8 bloodclaws, 10 hunters, 6 long fangs, and the RP..realized i was getting tired and a lil too sloppy towards the end so I eased off and decided it was bed time...

anyways...will get some pics up when i remember my photobucket account login;)

If there is one thing I enjoy is watching the members paint up their armies bit by bit and present them as a work in progress on a forum or blog. Even more so if is a Space Wolf army. So I will definitely be following this post caine1975. Good luck, happy painting, post a lot and regularly and above all welcome to the Fang.

wulf- no adepticon for me but im tired of not having this army done!!! ive got a 5k mech guard list 1/2 way painted and 3.5 k of orks to do for my son so looking to tidy up my painting lot

gs'd the termi legs on the last 14 grey hunters (9 man will be a melta, motw, pfist, standard squad for a rhino and 5 man will be plas, plas pistol squad for lc twin pg razorback) and 2 wolf guard, torso'd them all up and got the backpacks on all of them as well...figuring weapon combos on the 2 wolf guard (thinking 1. combimeta, melta bomb, wolfclaw and 2. combiplas maybe powerweapon for them)

contemplating a logan conversion as well as a ragnar...thinking the defiler big ole robot knight titan idea is becoming a bjorn....have a plasma cannon from a guard tank for him, muahaha..

painted iyanden sun on shoulders, doors, and lenses...

cant seem to upload pics from phone right now so will hit it up tomorrow or sunday...

cheers gents

brother...the road has been long and harrowing to reach this part of the fang;)

this is my 5th marine army in the last 20 years...my RT army was a bunch of beakies with an at-at sprayed with gloss black paint and a really sketchy hour glass on 1 shoulder. 10 years later I am reintroduced at the tail end of 3rd transitioning into 4th and am given an army that I start to repaint and slowly sell off to redo...come into a $500 assembled unpainted army for $100 and am at the 3rd army, get into flames of war and learn all about new ways to paint as 15mm is so much more about pumping them out while increasing quality to quantity..paint and sell to 3rd to assemble my 4th army as 5th comes out...new toys new paint techniques...get divorced, sell house get some more money and then SW codex is on the horizon so I do up the 4th army real nice and sell it. Spend a year gathering stuff from LGS, bits stores, ebay, and FW...find a local guy to do the initial sculpting til i decided to give it a shot. My GS is not smooth as a lot of the other true scale gurus but I may finish this army and decide to sell it to do the 6th version;)

when I paint I try and just sit, big glass of water to drink, lots of bad movies as background fuzz, bunch of lights surrounding me, eye drops for when there is no more moisture from eye strain, and more than anything the desire and drive to see it done well.

I have learned to do things quickly and mostly cleanly to the 2nd layer of painting and then use the last 2 to clean everything up and tidy up my lines and the like...5th and 6 layers are for HQ and anything more is for the centerpiece...
