Wolf Priest Steven the Storm Wolf

Painted along time ago for a friend I attempted to get into WarHammer it failed but the character stuck. I made him looking very aggressive stance. I know the storm shield is not legal on this model but I felt the model needed a better version of a wolf talisman.

I thought Steven needed some head trophies so I added some fallen members of xenos scum hanging on his belt.

Very cool model, I particularly like the pose and I really like the axe weapon!

Thanks Chaplin. I used two Logan axes. just cut at the bottom, and filed down the side to a point. then two of the axe blades cut at intersection and glued on the lateral side of the other axe head to make that quad axe. I called the axe

"Wolves of Legend". legend; literally meaning the directions the wolf faces point like a compass.

That is a really cool conversion. Like wise I really like the axe conversion.

Space Wolves are the only loyal chapter that can get away with cool trophies, be wrong not to have them on there ;) My own wolves carry Nids skulls & Orks trophies.

But again really nice conversion.

The painting could improve, but the model is RIDICULOUSLY badass! You've done the Wolves proud!

Glory to Russ!

EDIT: Specifically, painting-wise, the paint on the axe blades appears a bit thick. I would scrape it off and start over with paint that's less gummy. Other than that the painting looks great, especially the freehand on the skulls. That just stood out to me as a blaring error, which explains my somewhat harsh first post. Awesome Wolf Priest! You've really captured the savagery!
