Fenrisian Wolves model options?

Warhammer Fantasy 'goblin' wolves are good in that they are "small." They are still bigger than a Space Marine, but aren't ridiculously huge like the Thunderwolf Cavalry are supposed to be. Be sure to get "smaller" wolves if you plan on using cavalry. If you get wolves that people use for cavalry, then what the heck are you going to use for cavalry? Without making your cavalry look small and unimpressive I mean.
@Athas: you wouldnt happen to have a comparison picture of the mythicast warwolves beside a MK7 armored marine would you?

Sadly not, but you can extrapolate from the picture on this product page, which contains the lower part of a marine: http://mythicast.com/?page_id=4#ecwid:cate...product=1220510

I read that thread, but Fenrisian Wolves are not Thunderwolves and I, personally, don't think that it makes sense to use the same models. I think TWolves should be bigger (carrying Space Marines and all).

That thread doesn't mention basing either.

It looks like it's going to be either Goblin Wolves or Mythicast wolves for now (although I don't like the tails on the mythicast wolves for some reason).

Probably go Goblin Wolves cause they are cheap and won't hurt much to replace when GW releases official models.

I used the Gobbo Wolf riders for a good long while. Lately I've been looking at the new chaos hounds. A bit of greenstuff over some of the more noticable mutations and I think they'd be just what I'd be looking for in a wolf.

Maybe some bionics too...

I use the wolves from this site: http://www.otherworld.me.uk/weseries.html

I only ever use them as bodyguards for independent characters, so the two mean-looking Dire Wolves suit me just fine, but if I ever wanted to run a full pack of Fenrisian Wolves I'd pick up the set of 8 normal wolves and 2 dire wolves and go from there.

Can't remember where but the best I've seen personally is a combination of chaos hound bodies with gobbo wolf heads and tails and some greenstuff to hide the joins. Not the cheapest of options but they do look good. The chaos hound bodies have more movement in the sculpts and the wolf heads make them more, well, wolfy.
