Finn
Hi all, I've got a little problem and I hope you can help me solve it. I have a miniature I started painting and left it on the desk. While I was away, my mother wanted to see the results and grabbed it with greasy hands. Now, the mini is quite greasy and I know the next layers of paint won't adhere properly to the surface. Please tell me how I should clean the mini not to damage the existing layers of paint. Can I wash it in lukewarm water with soap? Kind regards, Finn Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/218756-need-help-with-cleaning-minis/ Share on other sites
Void_Stalker
Hey man, a bit of washing-up liquid & water should do the trick nicely. Just make sure you rinse & dry it thoroughly afterwards! Kurgan the Lurker
Let it air dry if you do that. Drying it with a towel/paper towel/whatever and you'll risk your first coats of paint chipping/layering off. Ironwulf
Thank you guys, I'll wash it in the evening and it should be dry in the morning  Good approach. Always remember- be patient and let the stuff dry. If you are like me, you can always find another mini to work on while the wet one dries....
