Espada Azul Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 Been doodling on my new WACOM tablet earlier tonight, and somehow managed to finish the picture below. I threw in the base colors of my DIY tabletop army, but it's still kind of... lacking? The bright base colors aside, I'm not sure what I should do to add 'atmosphere' to it (kind of envisioned it as a veteran scouting out an ambush point) through shading and such. So... Here I am. http://unequivocalhorizon.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/marinebase.png Just for background, I have only a very VERY basic understanding of lighting effects, shading, and color blending, plus I only have CorelDraw, Paintshop SAI, and Photoshop for editing and painting.
