Once the voting is complete, I'd like to see feedback on each of the names that was submitted.

 

I don't want to skew the voting with the discussion right now, but it might be interesting to explore everyones' thought processes. I don't know that there is a "right" or "wrong", but I'm sure we'll all find some interesting things to think about when we're presented with the thought processes of others:

• Which names did you like, and why?
  
• What was it that made you pick the name for which you voted?
  
• Which names did you not like, and why?
  

The bottom line is that I think that they're all good names, but the information/elements that we currently have might influence some of you (which is not a bad thing, mind you). Some of you might be thinking less about the information/elements that we currently have, possibly even thinking about things we haven't developed yet (such as the Chapter's belief system, organization, etc.). I chose the sequence on purpose, knowing that it would probably have a strong potential impact on the result, but not know what that end result might be.

 

But please save the discussion for after the voting is complete, otherwise it will skew the results.

In the event of a tie there will be a runoff between the lead names.

And for some reason I'm up way past my bedtime, and it's now Sunday, so the voting is closed. We have our winner (Obsidian Hunters). I'm going to refer the discussion I asked for (if there is any) to the main project discussion (preventing anyone from voting after the closure of the poll and confusing anyone if the "results" appear to change).

Well, I voted late for the winning one anyway only to read the last post after I'd voted. Well, it's the thought that counts at least....
