Barrage weapons and vehicle facing...

I was flipping through the rulebook last night trying to figure this out for myself, with no luck.

Do vehicle facing and/or firing arcs matter when firing a barrage weapon from a vehicle?

For example, you have a Basilisk with its back end up against the far right corner of the board, facing directly "north". It comehow becomes Immobilized, and can no longer pivot in place. There's a target unit directly opposite the Basilisk, on the extreme left of the board (call it the southwest corner, since the Basilisk is parked in the southeast corner). Provided it has range, can the Basilisk drop an indirect shot on the target unit?

The rules for firing arcs declare what the line of sight for various vehicle-mounted weapons are.

The rules for Barrage state that you can ignore LOS for firing, so long as you're in range.

There's nothing noted about hull-mounted weapons firing indirectly at targets outside their firing arc.

Anyone?

Haha, I actually already posted the same thing a month ago because a GW staffer told me I could but I didn't believe him.

Basically it's agreed that LOS and vehicle firing arcs are seperate things. So, while a weapon may not need LOS, it's firing arc is still limited.
