soots Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Yesturday i played a dark eldar player at my lgw this was my first time playing d.eldar in 5th, so i wasnt sure what to do this is a brief bat rep btw his list vec+ trueborns+ his raider 2 raiders with incubii 2 raiders with warriors scoorges my list meph 5 assault terminators(3th,2lc) furioso,bt 2 squads of 10 assault marines+fist 2 priests 1 tactical 1 baal raven+ ea game: 2 objectives, spearhead 1 deployed first, he failed the sieze on a 4+ my turn 1, not much happened, wrecked a raider with tactical missile launcher, popped smoke with baal his turn 1, shot everything at my baal, glanced 3 times, saved cover my turn 2, reserves...1 squad of assaults came in, same with the raven. i shot his scourges with my assaults, killed 3, raven was short his turn 2, shot lances at both baal and raven, only damage...baal cant move or shoot next turn, 1 raider shot my assaults, causing them to flee my turn 3, blew up vects raider with raven..lot of shots missed his turn 3, vect+ his trueborns assaulted my marines that were fleeing..wiping them out my turn 4, misplaced asasultmarines into terrain?!?!?..this turn i basically assaulted vect with my furioso and termies into his scourges, furioso killed 8 trueborns and vect...love em blood talons. terminators killed off the scourges..in the end furioso was imbolized by haywire grenades..meh his turn 4, killed 4 termies by a lot of shooting....and by me rolling a lot of 1s, he assaulted the misplaced assaults with the incubii and wiped them out.. no damage done to raven or baal my turn 5, moved the raven to his objective to contest it, flew meph to fight the incubii, moved the baal to shoot the incubii, because they werent far from my tacticals and objective. in the end, meph wiped out a squad of incubii the other was shot down his turn 5, contested my objective with his remaining raider rolled last turn...2 game over we tied, but we went to victory points...blood angels win ehhh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Two questions: Did you Scout move your Baal upon deployment and then did you move Max distance and pop smoke on Turn 1 to be more of a threat on Turn 2? And I misunderstood how your "fleeing" squad got wiped out. Was it the result of combat or simply because the DE squad "caught" you? If it's the latter, and unless they have new special rules for that unit, BA have ATSKNF which allows them to engage in combat. Regardless, all's well that ends with dead druchii!!!
