Captain Juan Juarez
Awesome Chaplain. My first thought is actuall to say paint him - if possible - as blind; even lacking sight he still serves his Chapter and Him on Terra - a powerful symbol and very Templar-esque. blackbabyjesus
Eyes are a pain, especially on a model like this. I tend to use a fine detail brush to first paint in the eye-area with a dark brown or sometimes even black, then paint a thin white line over that and finally just take a nick out of the middle with the same dark brown. the coloured part of a person's eye isn't a circle when viewed normally, the eyelids cover the top and bottom. As such, painting in a square on a model often looks much better. Really though, it all comes down to a steady hand, a fine brush and appropriately thinned paint! Practice makes perfect!
