Eyes are a pain, especially on a model like this. I tend to use a fine detail brush to first paint in the eye-area with a dark brown or sometimes even black, then paint a thin white line over that and finally just take a nick out of the middle with the same dark brown. the coloured part of a person's eye isn't a circle when viewed normally, the eyelids cover the top and bottom. As such, painting in a square on a model often looks much better.

 

Really though, it all comes down to a steady hand, a fine brush and appropriately thinned paint! Practice makes perfect!

@jwentzel - fo this tone i just used what was readily available so bare with me its a strange combo.

 

black undercoat

commando khaki

water down vomit brown and wash the face area.

wash with watered down badab black wash

highlight with a mix of commando khaki and vomit brown.
