For my standard guys I've written a tutorial, basically they are Beastmen cut in half with a shaved down Marine Torso stuck on top. Doing this conversion does get expensive quick, as your basically using a £23.00 box of marines and a £15.50 or £25.50 box of Gor or Bestigor. Which is partly why may army is troop light, and hero heavy. My 1500 point list has 15-20 Grey Hunters with 12 Long Fangs, with the rest being transports or larger models.

 

Though one positive is when building models like Rune Priests, Wolf Priests and Wolf Lords. Due to them not adding to the cost, as the £23.00 Space Wolves box comes with a bunch of options to build the HQ choices, and the standard bearer pols in the Gor/Bestigor kit make for excellent Runic Staffs for your priests.
