Stormraven/Librarian Dread best loadouts/tactics vs Orks?

Now that we're actually getting models for these... I need at least one Librarian Dreadnought and a couple of Stormravens. I play against Orks 90%+ of the time, any suggestions on the best way of employing these once I've got them?

Thanks.

Storm-ravens are going to be LAUGHING at Ork armour with thier missile and anti-tank weapons, plus they can be kitted out with TMl and plasma-cannons so you can have a couple of blast templates a turn. The speed it can travel at and still fire means they'll also have a harder time hiring it in CC, where thier anti-tank is best, hopefully meaning youll last longer with it.

The Librarian Dread is harder in my opinion. I'd use it by putting it in the the Storm-Raven and blasting it into combat with lootas or some other low-risk cc unit (even orks have some against AV 13 haha). I'd give him Wings of Sanguinius and Fear of Darkness, meaning he can move fast and also make those low leadership models run for the hills off objectives and such ;).

Hope I help a bit

i play orks very often, as my best friend runs a really strong ghazkull battlewagon heavy list. What i have found works really well against them is a stormraven w/ death co. kitted out to your liking and chappie inside and a dc dreadnought w/ blood talons. it will wear out pretty much anything you throw it at. I don't know how well the libby dread is, as i have only playtested it once and had it blown up turn 2 by 15 lootas, so i dont know about that. I DO know, however, that blood talons + big squad of orks = no more orks

I too think that Fear of the Darkness should be one of his powers. So far I've only used it against Eldar and Tau but I can't see it working any worse against Orks.

Maybe consider a drop pod for the Librarian dread when you're not using him with the Raven.

I'd stick Blood Talons on the Furioso Dreadnought and have the Stornraven deliver into it a big mob of Orks. I've only recently been lucky with my Furioso and managed to tear through a large unit of Black Templars led by Grimaldus in rounds of combat. :)
