Hell fellow brothers.. i m beginning to think it's time for my wolves to join some apocalypse battle, and gain theyr's own saga like my orks did.

But i need a centerpiece for my army... and actualy m not able to choose between these 2 options

1) the thunderhawk! Just immagine how epic it would be disembrarking some of the most powerfull squads and character the wolves can give in the heart of the enemy, taking an objective, and maybe with the help of some drop pod, forming a formidable defence

2)A warhound titan... it is far less wolvish, but it could be a relic from the legion time... a lot more effective than the thunder hawk.. but... but.... but 8|

Obviously the Thunderhawk, possibly as a tie in with Bifrost from Norse Mythology - the rainbow bridge that permitted the gods to travel to the land of the mortals.

Suddenly had a flash of a T-Hawk painted in rainbow colors.

1. Far fluffier and making of sense, plus it would actually fit.

2. I'd think that should a Legion have a Titan - property of the Adeptus Mechanicum - then we might have heard about it.

Maybe I am too fond of the custom data sheet idea, But you could always make something more wolfy. I was trying to think of something to do my self for us Wolves, and my only Idea was a Rune Priest in a Dred..... then several months later came the BA....... so now I am trying to think of something new.
He's using GW books and not getting made up stuff from websites.

Nah, it's not for this... it's beacuse the fell blade is a bane blade variant, and i do not like the baneblade. due to it's lack of specialization. I think the shadowsword, or eve the stormlord with 20 long fangs is more interesting, a kind of mobile fortress!

The space wolves claim anything they take. So they could have a titan or two. Who knows?

As for the OP i would say thunder hawks are way cooler and more useful for the wolves

Starkhan

Mars pattern Warhound all the way man. Fluff ? Russ saw one back in the day and just had to have one. In my opinion a Space Wolf apoc force couldn't have a cooler and more fitting centre piece. Just look at those lupine features, any other chapter could rock a THawk, the Space Wolves are the only ones who could pull out a Warhound and have it look like they are meant to own it. My 2c.

I dont know much about them both aswell (interested in finding out more), but Id go for a titan.

Lets say you face the wolves in real life and didnt hear the bone/soul chilling howls because youre ipods earphones are stuck in youre ear lol,and I see a titan. That would blow my breath away more than a thunder hawk ,Id most likely just drop dead right there.

But thats my personal choice of course. Each to his own.

I like both but would have to agree with the titan... my preference would be the old Armorcast model...it looked like a wolf and at one point I had two of them in my army...unfortunately I had to sell them both to pay bills...but man they do have the tendency to make yer opponents jaw hit the floor and the rest of him soon follows, in convulsions...HEHEHE

For gameplay reasons I would chose a Warhound. Its imposing and packs a terrible punch against any opponent (save for bigger titans). It would be strictly Adeptus Mechanicus though as its the AM that crew them and most importantly: the AM that maintains them. The Space Wolves lack the know-how on keeping titans in working order. We´re more proficent in doing the opposite of just that.

And if the fluff was the deciding factor I would use the Thunderhawk, for reasons I think most already know :)
