dublindawg
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-4000...E-RED-WAKE.html While this model is intended for another chapter, those dual claws make me think of a great basis for a Lone Wolf Character. Shave down all those bumps on the armor, add a wolfy shoulder pad and maybe a wolf pelt cloak from our TDA set, and you would have one fierce looking Lone Wolf. I like the "relic gauntlets", but that's it. Don't care much for the "bumpy armour". Grey Mage
I like the bumpy armor, mostly- it reminds me of Mark 5 armor, and would be nice as a curiosity. Its the chainswords inside the gauntlets that make me go :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219366-new-fw-model/#findComment-2616219 Share on other sites
Growler67
Yes that is similar to Mk4 Armor and could easily be used as a Lone Wolf for those modelling "older" versions or Pre-Heresy with the current Codex. Kassill
I agree with Grey Mage, I like the armor but the chainblades in the palm seem a bit much  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219366-new-fw-model/#findComment-2616686 Share on other sites
Zynk Kaladin
I agree with Grey Mage, I like the armor but the chainblades in the palm seem a bit much  Hey, brother... HIGH FIVE! I actually like the relic claws/chain palms. I prefer a more sleak, smoother armor over the bumpiness. Either way, very impressive model, imo. IronFather84
Maybe i am over thinking this too much but i don't see them given that much highly reverred and extremely rare pieces of equipment to someone who's entire purpose(now) is to die for some form of pentence. I know what the codex says and what they can take but i am saying from a fluff stand point it doesn't make sense. I am not trying to be a nay-sayer by any means perhaps someone can set me strait. Although it is a really nice model. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219366-new-fw-model/#findComment-2616719 Share on other sites

fivepointedstar
I think the blade should have been on the outside like standard chainfist that would be practical for claw combat and with a chainfist chuck norris karate chop someone head off. Emperor's Scourge
So...umm...you'd basically change everything about the model except the claws? Money well spent. Taeken
Looking forward to the rules. And even though its a bit odd, the chain palms are kinda cool for a variation of the normal chainfist. I love FW stuff but won't be gettin this guy. It's way to easy to convert some claws into chainfist/claws. Little bit of knife work, rotary tool, and green stuff. Done! MeatGrinder
That is awesome, I've fallen in love. I don't like those lumps or the skulls, and some of the sculpting seems a bit bulbous, but damn is that a nice model. I'd definately look into getting one for my wolves, drape the wolf cloak from the WG box over his shoulders, maybe swap the skulls for wolf ones too. Better yet, swap out the claws for a staff and you'd have a nice Rune priest. then you have the claws to do what you like with. Darkseer
Anyone know if his head is a separate piece? I want to put a bare head there and use some different arms.
