grahamulot
I have been working on this army for sometime now, and would like to present this to all the members of the B and C. It is through inspirational sites such as this one, that gave me the idea to do this chapter in the first place. I am no master writer, or glorious painter or player. But I wanted to do some justice for the Rainbow Warriors. I hope that everyone enjoys this, and please dont hesitate to be critical! I would rather this be a community project that one of my own doing. I would also like to credit a picture I found on the internet while looking up Rainbow Warriors. It is a picture of a Space Marine in Aztec style dress, and it was one of the major inspirations for this army. Thank you so much whoever made that Picture.. I reckon its time for me to start this puppy off, and i'll do it with a quote. " How is it so many secrets have been lost to time? Is it human hands that push them, or the very gravity of the events that pull them through the cracks of history?" IA: The Rainbow Warriors http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5163/5352504930_6d2c43f9b0.jpg DSC_0046 by drgnftr2002, on Flickr The Rainbow Warriors, or Sons of Prism, are fierce. Bred from the tribes of Prism these warriors were utterly devoted to the destruction of mankinds enemies. Woe betide the fools who do not respect them. HISTORY "We are made from molten glass and war scorched sands. We are all that remains of tradition, and we will not falter" Very little is known of the Rainbow Warriors history, they participated in hundreds of major campaigns during the 34th-37th Milenium. The only data remaining of them is in very small fragments, however one fact is clear, Thier orignal name at their founding was not the Rainbow Warriors, but The Sons of Prism. The name rainbow warriors springs from the telltale striped helmet design that all Sons of Prism wear. It is not known what occured in the middle of the 37th Millenium but all records of the rainbow warriors that could be found were sealed, and the Rainbow warriors faded from existence. It is not a sad tale, for there is no tale left of them at all. While their gene-seed is unkown, it is clear that it was niether Space Wolf or White Scars due to certain genetic findings recently recovered, even though they are fiercly tribal. Some point to The Ultramarines, others to The Salamanders. HOMEWORLD " Do not shield your eyes from the blazing light, for it is only the glory of the emperor" Prism was the Homeworld of the Rainbow Warriors, it is a magnifecent planet with a warm jungle like southern hemisphere with great rivers and oceans. The Northern Hemisphere is a terrible wasteland of Glass, melted there after an apocolyptic war lost to the history of the people that call Prism home. It is in the northern hemisphere that the Rainbow Warriors fortress resided. The northen hemisphere reflected the light of the Binary stars that the planet orbited created a rainbow like effect during the daylight. Some said the Northen Hemisphere of Prism was one of the 200 wonders of the Imperial World. I has now been seen in 3000 Years. BELIEFS " Faith in the soil, Faith in the water, Faith in the trees, , it is all made him on the Golden Throne" http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5123/5352505744_cb76bc9f47.jpg DSC_0048 by drgnftr2002, on Flickr The people of Prism had a unique view of The Emperor they believe that his spirit is in every living thing, that he is part of them and the rivers and trees. ( Need to Add more Here) COMBAT DOCTRINE The Rainbow Warriors utilize a combined arms tactic( Definetly adding more here) ORGANIZATION W.I.P GENESEED Salamanders. ( Adding more) BATTLECRY TASTE THE RAINBOOOOWWWWWWW Just kidding I havn't thought of one yet... This is certainly a work in progress, I already think I should dump the Sons of Prism thing, it just adds confusion. Thanks for reading I apreciate it. Ferrata
Is the Sons of Prism thing something you have added yourself or something that GW has hinted at with the Rainbow Warriors? What is their officially about the Rainbow Warriors? I know that the supposed homeworld of Prism has its records deleted in the 5th Edition Codex. I would suggest listing everything we know is true about the Rainbow Warriors, then things which have been suggest. Select which of those suggested things you like and build from there.
