Mazer Rackham
@ Chapter Master Ignis Domus That's some good work with that banner... I too shall wear this banner you have created with pride - I have had GK fighting alongside my BT and Codex: SM's for a good while. The Emperor loves you more now. :( MR. Chapter Master Ignis Domus
Oh, good. For a second I thought my Daemon-summoning and Chaos worshiping were going to get in the way. I'm glad he's kind and forgiving. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219381-how-to-avoid-band-wagoning/page/3/#findComment-2626974 Share on other sites

WarriorFish
Bandwagoning is defined by who leaves, not who shows up. Probably the best description for it. I don't mind people starting an army up but I'm not impressed if they ditch it. An army is for life, not just when it's new  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219381-how-to-avoid-band-wagoning/page/3/#findComment-2627394 Share on other sites
Grand Master Caloth
My whole region knows me, cause i am pretty much the only Puritan Grey Knight player, and the other guy hasnt but his knights on the table in a long while. noone will be able to accuse me of band-wagoning. lol Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219381-how-to-avoid-band-wagoning/page/3/#findComment-2630641 Share on other sites

I played Dark Elves in fantasy for a couple of years, but they weren't my style. I ditched em and played Beastman. Had more fun and a couple of more victories (until GW made the current abomination :P Glad we aren't playing fantasy these days) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219381-how-to-avoid-band-wagoning/page/3/#findComment-2630759 Share on other sites
Eddie Orlock
I don't know about this. I played Dark Elves in fantasy for a couple of years, but they weren't my style. I ditched em and played Beastman. Had more fun and a couple of more victories (until GW made the current abomination :D Glad we aren't playing fantasy these days)I won a game with my Brets on Friday and am currently undefeated in Eight edition with them. Not that I count either victory as much. Friday's match ended turn one with a concession after a lucky trebuchet shot broke a large swordsman block next to the general who fell back though its own x-bow detachment into artillery hill paniking the war-engines off the board and failing to rally in the presence of the BSB left the table on his turn. Simultainiously I mannaged an extended range charge with half a dozen cadets to take out his handgunner line and over run into his Helblaster. I still think he could have beat me, but that run of ill fortune seemed to break his spirit. I'd planned to paint the Brets up four years ago and only got to them fall of last year.
