Brother Valerius
Twin-linked lets you re-roll to hit, and blast weapons don't roll to hit... so would that even have an effect? Besides looking awesome, of course.
spartan249
Twin-linking blast weapons lets you reroll the scatter dice. Devastating.
Grizzly_bear
Twin-linking blast weapons lets you reroll the scatter dice. Devastating. Lol ha ha 3 large blast templates s7 ap 2, no 'gets hot'......bait....pure bait....you could take so much out with that variant......imagine the look of horror on a tyranid/ork player who agreed and accepted the LR variant then Watch in shame as his Lil babies get fried....then class you a cheat and say that the KP don't count cause it's not a 'real' LR Lol
DarkGuard
They're actually small blast, which is why the plasma cannon isn't so great against hordes, you're probably only going to get 3 people max if you hit dead on, 4 if you scatter a little into the middle of a few. Instead, this would be nasty against Marines. Use other units to blow up their transports, then land 3 plasma templates on top of the cramped up squad left out in the open. EDIT: has someone actually made rules for this down in the Homegrown forum? Could be worth a look.
