Amazing test game!

So on the 29th our local shop will have a 5 round 750 point "rtt".

Late tonight A friend and I tried out our lists. He was trying death wing, I used it the week before and smashed him up.

I played the wolves! the mission was capture and control with dawn of war. He stole first turn and killed a single grey hunter.

we moved up and the same grey hunter pack led by my rune priest shot at his closest death wing squad led by balial we killed his cyclone missile guy the murderous hurricane roll was 18 !!!!!! He was freaked out but I wounded only 4 times and he lost no one else from that squad my next pack killed 3 terminators with shooting ( plasma!) and on turn 2 his affected squad rolled bubble 1"s and then 3 more 1"s killing 3 more terminators! due to the hurricane! and that was game.

we shook hands. I know he is freaked out but Man the rune priest laid them to waste!

I think he needs to add a librarian to his list in place of the drednaught.. or make a new list all together. he lacks the experience to use the death wing effectively at the moment.

 

The grey hunter was nearly avenged! <_<
