Thanks very much Hobbes :P ;)

The crew for my tank!

Have not had the time to work on this due to an illness and finishing college!

I think its called a dirge caster int he codex, but its basically for daemonic chants and worship to be broadcast over the battlefield!

This is it so far. I dont have an airbrush cos im a poor student, however I wouldn't use one anyway on an imperial or chaos vehicle. It ends up looking "too clean" for my tastes. When I eventually get round to painting some Eldar I will though!

It's very rough and read, just the base colours on so I can start working on the individual areas.

There's a few extra bits and pieces I need to do to this thing, but other than that it's done! I don't liek painting tanks, but I'm happy how this turned out.

Sorry for the bad pics, but its really overcast up north today and the light isn't playing ball!

Just referring to the pics taken near paint pots and not on terrain ;) Onto my next project!

Sadly, with no forge world one to slave over, I will however make do with this guy:

I'm already kinda "hmmmm" about this. Should be really interesting to paint! :cuss

Amazing stuff Tzen. That Rhino is absolutely top notch. Your painting is so crisp and smooth and you manage to get really great results from the colours you use. As a WB collector my self it is really great to see the legion done such justice. Inspirational

These are intimidatingly good, Tzen. Crisp, neat, looking beautiful. You're awesome at this.

I don't believe I have commented here yet, so I just want you to know that I've always looked forward to seeing the name "Tzen" pop up in the Hall of Honor section. Keep on keeping on you Word Bearing son of a gun.

Thanks Aaron, Brother Styphus and Kizzdougs! (and everyone else). They're really nice comments and really encouraging. Until the new Chaos codex comes out the GUO is probably the last official thing I'll be adding to my army. I have a few bits and pieces I want to add that aren't in the rules, but want to have simply for the sake of having them (cultists for a start).

@ A.D.B. - I loved The First Heretic and the Nightlords stuff you have written. I feel it's your duty to do more Word Bearers novels!

Ha ha, hey Lex

No comics for a while yet I reckon, soon though! I kinda do periods of a lot, then periods of none at all!

Here is a fatties hand! This is a very old model, bought when the GUO was first released. It's really weird painting it.

:D Thanks! :D

This is the fatty!

I was discussing with someone over e-mail how i was going to attempt to paint this guy, and at first I wasn't really sure. However I decided to paint clumps of the fatty either green or brown, and then blend the two areas together once each "clump" was done. It's still early days as the picture shows, but I'm getting a good feeling from it so far.

It could go tits up, but time will tell! :D

So far this has been a pleasure to paint mostly. There's parts I'm not happy with and will get changed before he's done. There's been a few bits that have been damaged too from wear and tear down the years he's been passed from one owner to another (I got this for commission work I used to do aaagggeeesss ago). But over all I'm pretty happy!

Obviously still not finished, and the weather up north means its nearly impossible to get a full days worth of work in.

Games Workshop called. They said you're hired.

Lol, I doubt I'm anywhere near up to that quality, thanks anyway though! :P

Finished the model mostly, really bad lighting for pics, so tomorrow I'll have his base done and some decent pictures... I hope...

I realise people seem to love weapons (I hate weapons) so here is a pic. This isn't a great pic of it sadly :P
