TheGerman
I've been playing for a long time now and I was wondering where I can read all the development in the 40k story universe. So far all I know is things I've read in the codex's. Can anyone point me in the right direction to read all the fluff? (preferably a website) thanks for reading ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219726-i-want-to-further-my-fluff-knowledge/ Share on other sites

Captain Juan Juarez
http://www.lexicanum.com/ has been my one stop source for warhammer fluff. Â Beware of Lexicanum; it's a fan site so unless something has a source attached, take it with a pinch of salt until you know otherwise. Â That isn't to say it's useless, just that sometimes overzealous fans confuse fact with theory. Â Best way: Buy up all the books and Codices you can manage/afford - Ebay is good for cheapies - and read until your eyes bleed, because even the old Codices contain some relevant info. Khestra the Unbeheld
You can always do the wikipedia thing, though you'll end up spending hours going through link after link. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219726-i-want-to-further-my-fluff-knowledge/#findComment-2621458 Share on other sites
Captain Juan Juarez
You can always do the wikipedia thing, though you'll end up spending hours going through link after link. :P Â I remember once starting with the Varangian Guard and ending up 9 hours later at the Gecko.. Ah, the good old days! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219726-i-want-to-further-my-fluff-knowledge/#findComment-2621491 Share on other sites
Sons of Horus
Ancient source material from the earlier days like Realms of Chaos and Index Astartes. Brother Nihm
^ agree. Â Realm of Chaos and Slaves to Darkness (and most importantly) Rogue Trader (not the new RPG, but the book from the late 80's, early 90's) has heaps upon heaps of lore, some of it has been changed over the years but most of it still applies. They are good for a long and interesting read if you can get your hands on them. bap2703
If you speak french : http://taran.pagesperso-orange.fr/ If you don't it's pointless to translate it with online tools, they don't like translating 40K stuff ^^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219726-i-want-to-further-my-fluff-knowledge/#findComment-2622032 Share on other sites
Dammeron
The Liber Chaotica are superb resources for intricate and intimate information on the nature of chaos, daemns, the warp etc. For the chaos legions, try tracking down the Index Astartes books.
