Gree
What if Angron never got the ''Butcher'sa Nails'' that screwed up his head? Assume he was raised in the same enviorment, same slave past, etc, etc, but he never got the cybernetic inplants. How would he have changed? Nomus Sardauk
Probably similiar to his Dornian Heresy counterpart, without that gizmo screwing with his thought process he most likely would have become a very honourable warrior like his brothers. Billuriye
I think he would be only deadlier. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219787-what-if-angron/#findComment-2622016 Share on other sites
douglas9521
Deadlier in some ways less in others but i still think he would have sided with horus. It would have needed a different angle to work from but i still think he would have rebeled.Thats my tuppence:) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219787-what-if-angron/#findComment-2622045 Share on other sites
WolfGuardVortek
Even without the implants, the Emperor still effectively betrayed Angron. So i think he would have still joined Horus. Corsair
What if Angron didn't have the implants? Far smaller breasts! Seriously though, his issue was the Emperor, the chip in his brain just made it worse. Khestra the Unbeheld
If we take the flashback shown in The First Heretic as canon, he was already an angry kid when he landed. I don't think avoiding the Nails would have kept him down from his rage issues. Captain Malachi
Honestly, I think the only difference would be that he would be able to focus his bloodlust on the enemy. That's literally the only thing I think would change. He'd still have sided with Horus, he'd still have been needlessly violent etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219787-what-if-angron/#findComment-2622490 Share on other sites
