Raven Torrid
Same guy I posted on the Space Wolves sub-forum, tought I'd share it here as well. :P Today I finished (mostly) my Swiftclaw Biker, whose bike I decided to modify into a chopper style bike. Removed the bolters and after that decided not to bring them back. :P Just went for the looks with this one, and IMO the skull and the big searchlight fit perfectly for a chopper. Pretty happy with how it turned out, just need to make him a proper biker base and maybe a few more touch-ups. C&C Welcome. ;) http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa277/RavenTorrid/Biker.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/219805-swiftclaw-biker/ Share on other sites
asmodai650
Would make for a great Wolf Lord on bike! If you wanted too, you might be able to mount the bolters to the side of foot rests. It would keep the bike WTSIWYG, and not break up the movement of the model. That headlight really makes the front end of the bike! Raven Torrid
he looks like he's holding his axe backwards. other then that great model I think he was trying to make the model look as if he was about to strike as he is driving toward the enemy. Indeed. :wallbash: Tho, it is a bit awkward. The natural position of the hand in this situation would be the palm of the hand facing up rather than down, and the handle of the axe being on the inner side of the arm rather on the outer. This is basically the power sword arm, where I replaced the sword with an axe. Might get the desired position if I cut it at the wrist and turn it around, but it may be tricky. Gonna think about it. :wallbash: As for the bolters, really liking the current minimalistic look, but might magnetise them and put them on when needed for WYSIWYG.
